In the second level, unlock HOTSWITCH.In the first level, enter the Quarantine/Broken node and unlock CHARGE.I guess it's just good/cool that the devs added good items for people with different playstyles and preferances. All achievements in SuperHot: Mind Control Delete But of course, you are entitled to have your own opinion/preferance, what should i care. So simply put, I do not agree with your sentiment what so ever. (But even killheal isn't necesary, because you will hardly take damage anyways when using hotswitch (and propably charge aswell)). If you add to that the lightreflx.hack (and perhaps also killreload.hack (to kill enemies faster)), you are pretty much invinsible if you play well enough.Īlso, as a previous commenter mentioned, killheal.hack also pretty much makes re "useless", or at least compared to the advantages of other cores. Yeah, most of the time the slowmotion makes you avoid the enemies and their bullets, but that time every once in a while where you are in a situation you just wouldn't be able to survive without losing a heart, you now can by hotswitching to another enemy and thus avoiding damage. Anyways, back to the point, you can pretty much avoid taking most of the damage you would have otherwise taking using hotswitch. My personal favorite is Hotswitch, but i am sure charge works just as well if not better, I just havn't really played with it since i am more familiar with hotswitch. You won't even need the extra heart re (endurance) provides, if you play well with some of the other cores.

I know this is an old thread, but i couldn't disagree more with you. Semi related: Beast with killheal and rechargeonkill is some of the most fun i've had with this game. They just are less forgiving whenever you actually do make a mistake.

So yeah, in short Endurance is passive and helps absorb mistakes while the other cores are more difficult to use but when mastered can push you even further beyond. As Addict and Beast you can just activate your ability to take out whoever and take at least one of the other red dudes out before they can finish turning around, at which point there should be a gun floating around somewhere for you to use to finish off the third. As endurance you'd have to just eat that lead and try to use what little time you have to kill your way to not being dead. For example say you done goofed and you're staring down the barrels of 3 redguys, 2 have shotguns and 1 has an assault rifle. Addict and Beast both have mobility options in their activated abilities that let you move around the stage much faster than Endurance or Recall ever could while also allowing you to use your defense well.
As such Recall is more active core that once mastered let's you tear up the red dudes in ways Endurance simple can't. Meanwhile recall starts you with a Katana and can summon it back to you providing you with both a powerful melee weapon, a defensive tool that can reflect bullets, and allow you to set up traps to kill multiple red dudes at range. It offers nothing else in terms of gameplay. The extra heart helps you survive mistakes but that's it. Endurance is great don't get me wrong but it is a very passive core.
#SUPER HOTSWITCH CORE UPGRADE#
Just remember as soon as you get kill heal upgrade it becomes obsolete, as I have gotten up to five hearts with charge core. This game is meant to be played for fun, and if you find that the vanilla endurance core is for you, play it! The three combat cores each have their own special upgrades, such as perfect switch, katana ricochet, and chain charge. And if you ever get the supprpnch upgrade, congratulations! You've become god! All enemies, including ceramics (White guys), will die in ONE PUNCH *Plays One Punch Man theme*. And charging into enemies counts as one, and I also have recently learned that whilst enemies are stunned (Have something thrown at them) just takes one. Not only does it have a short-range charged to close the gap and interrupt enemies, but most importantly: THE MELEE KILLS IN TWO HITS. this gets even better when you can recall that katana and it kills red guys on the return.Ĭharge, my personal favourite, is beastly. Katana is simple: You essentially get the 'Start with Katana' upgrade as a default. The Hotswitch core is great for getting yourself out of tough situations, dealing with ceramic guys, and easily snagging weapons of them if you know how to. Sure, you've got one more heart, but a good philosophy in gaming is: why get hit when you can hit first? Each combat core is an improvement on the endurance core, with the exception of one less heart.
